Bio

Susan Robertson lives in Newton and Wellfleet, MA. Her focus on art began in high school and she went on to graduate from Boston University with a BA in History of Fine Arts. She served as the Executive Director of Gore Place in Waltham for 35 years and she retired in 2024 as Executive Director Emerita. She was President of the New England Museum Association and honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award in 2020 in recognition for her service to the museum field. She works in oil and studied at the deCordova Museum School and privately with artists Miyo Onishi and Zhanna Cantor.
